FMIC piping
so i met this guy yesterday that made his FMIC piping out of Exhaust piping, and it cost him 60$ total, but then again my friend said it is the not good to use it(idk why), what do you guys think? if i was to use exhaust piping, would it be a problem or do i need to buy IC piping? he also said that if i get piping he'll put it all together for me

RE: FMIC piping
Well the materials used for both are the same. Good intercooler piping is steel and so is exhaust piping.. If you can get some the correct width and not too thick i dont see why it would be a problem.

If you have access to a place that can bend the pipes... do a little price checking. I dont know what things you have at hand. Check what the price of pipe kits are...

No clue dude. The only way to find out is to do it the hard way and measure out how much it will be... peice at a time lol. Have fun with that one lol. Seriously, if you are going to end up spending more money than if you wer buying a kit then why bother?

I highly doubt he did all of it himself. I mean.. come on... you have to measure each angle exactly and make it 1 peice at a time. Not to mention the cost of using the equipment. If thats what hes sayin he did... i think he is bull****tin you. If he found a pipe kit some place and modified it to what he needed... thats alot more likely.
