Nope fairly easy. All you need are 2 ramps and axel stands.. (or a jack).... some muscle, and patience. Just make sure you dont lose any of the peices.

It is as easy as removing the tire . All you have to do is jack up the car, take the tire off and then take two bolts off the caliper, there are four there so make sure you take the right ones off. Its gonna be behind the caaliper (NOT the ones with the rubber boot on them. That will remove the caliper right out from the rotor, now just take out the pads, and here is the only pain part, you need a large clamp so that you can re-compress the cylinder on the caliper, it looks like a piston. Just use the old pads as a surface to clamp onto. and compress it till its flush. Put in the new pads, put it all back togetherand your good to go

You dont have to do that. You remove the pin and the caliper slides open.. you push the piston back into the caliper.. and replace the pad... clamp it back down and put the pin back in... sorted

sebba you cant just "push" the caliper. What are you pushing it with? Unless releasing the pressure by bleading then it wont just go back in. You need to clamp it back

u can push it back by hand.

EDIT: Not the caliper itself. The caliper you can slide open.. and remove the old pad.. and then push the piston back into the caliper enough so that you can get the new pad back in... You just beed to put force into it.

Yes it can be done just with your hands...

you cant push the piston back by hand unless your like hulk hogan. Sebba when was the last time you did brakes? All the brakes I have EVER done you NEED a C clamp to close the pistons in and the more worn your pads are the worse it is. Evo on my Evo they are brand SPANKIN new caliper like seriouls a week old and nope cant go back by hand......... maybe only if you leave the resivour open you can but then youll need to bleed the line again since you let air back in
