its not tricky to remove just HARD to get that bolt off. I dont know if the last guy who changed it was just trying to be an ***, but I had to call up my friend hercules to come over an losen the bolt for me. just buy the filter first and look at where the bolts are its simple. and remember to cut thefuel fuse, crank the engine until its dead, and dont smoke

Take my advice from experience and wear safety glasses. I took a shot in the eye and burned like a mo' fo' But yes there are two filters. The one under the hood should be done with every tune up. The other one is a sock attached to the pump inside the tank. This one only needs to be replaced when you do the fuel pump. Or if you've had the car for years and the pump is a beast running strong you may want to pull it out and pop a nw sock on to be safe. I would pull the fuse and crank the engine so you don't have any burps, because my lines were pinched to and that didn't help any.

Yeah that was the first time out of I don't know how many that I had it happen and that's just because the shop teacher told me it would happen and I said I'd never had a problem. Damn teachers...think they're soo smart. But for anyone concerned my eyes are doing well now. I only looked stoned for about a week
