so my fuel gauge doesnt light up when i turn the lights on any more any recomendations as to how to fix it. ive looked around havnt found anything that helps me.

 

could be that the light bulb behind the cluster is out and can be easily replaced has happened to me before so it is very possible

 

mot likely what it is, its about 8 screws to take it out so there is no big deal. just take it out and drive up to the auto store and get the same light bulb and you should be all set.

not sure there are exactely 8 screws, im not familiar with the 3G, so i wouldnt be able to help you there, but im sure its the bulb so just get a chilton or haynes(which ever is better) and it will tell you how to do it in there and tell us how it goes.

 

i bought the haynes a long time ago and it covers the general area of what i want but not how to do it its just like romove this romove that but not how to do any of it. maybe im just mechanically retarded but it seems they could have spent a little more time covering how to do things not just what to do.
