Default Fuel pressure solenoid

So I got that annoying CEL light with the code P1105. I’ve been doing some reading on here and came up with the conclusion that I have to replace my fuel pressure solenoid. I’ve been having a hard time find a place to buy the dam thing besides the dealer. Is there such a place? Also, does a malfunctioning fuel pressure solenoid affect my performance? Maybe its psychological thing but sometimes I can feel the boost stronger than usual. By the way, I’m a new proud owner of a 98 gs-t (manual of course). I love this car but I must admit it took me a while to get seated comfortably opposed to my mx6. The first week I bought It, I let my friends test drive it, now they all want to form a gst/gsx crew. Cool huh J

Check the rubber hoses first just to make sure that you don't have any old crusty lines that connect to the FPR. If they aren't bad, then check the junk yards for a used FPR or buy new from online automotive shops or online dealerships (they are usually cheaper than from buying at the local dealerships).

The lines wont be a problem for the selinoid. Hell you can just take the lines off of it and hook up the fpr vac line straight to the manifold. As long as you leave the selinoid plugged in you wont have a problem. If yours is throwing a CEL you will need to find a new or used one.

Sorry, I did mean the FPR solenoid and not just the FPR.
Are you looking for a link of the vacuum lines?

Just click a quadrant and go from there.

no that is not always true. Alot of the times the FRS will throw a code because the vaccuum lines are clogged. Thats is actually the main reason it will throw it. So i would definetly start there. Pull the lines off and blow some air though them. Then just and see if they dont have any cuts in them. If that still doesnt do it then its the FRS. Here is the solenoid

is the drop in power in the range of 4-6 rpms because i get that feeling , my guess it may be your stock bypass valve leaking your boost .but that won't throw a code but it does cause a loss of power
