Default gettinga new clutch need insight.

i was looking thru for a clutch that could hold around 350hp to the wheels... on a 98 gst. maybe a little more hp... anyways... i was looking at a few clutches...

the act2100-right on the edge of gripping enough with that hp from what i hear. but great pedal feel... what is max reccomended hp on this one? should i get a street/4puck/or 6puck?

then the centerforce dual friction(2500) is a little more clamping than the act2100 with the same feel... the are both around the same price too...
BUT>>>
i was checking out the fidanza setups... and was wondering

what are the hp ratings/clamp loads on the FIDANZA 3.2 and the 4.3 clutches? i am really interested in them... seem like a little different direction? can anyone help on pros cons of all these setups.. and their (power holding abilities). also, would the fidanza 4.3 be alot like the act2600? cuz i just don't wanna use a clutch as beefy or beefier than the 2600..

please let me know what you guys think. thanks for your help.

i say you go with the centerforce its a pretty strong clutch and feels the same as the 2100 but it is stronger

thats what i was thinking. would the racing disks make any difference in the clamping of the act?

and anyone with experience or knowledge of the fidanza's... =)

yea the different disks will absolutely make a difference... the 4 and 6 puck are suggested for racing only... get the act 2600 with street disc and fidanza aluminum flywheel with the replaceable friction surface... that'll be the absolute best for your set-up

i agree with sk8, the 2600 street disc will be perfect for what you need and the feel isnt too bad on those. I had one for a while and with the right adjustment on the pedal it wont feel too bad

yea and it'll be the safest for that amount of power, the 2100 would be pushing it

i agree, 2100 is for sure pushing it, the centerforce can take it but if you can live with the stiffness of the 2600 then go for it, but if you drive alot and with traffic it might get annoying I live in Hollywood CA so a 2600 would be a pain for me, my friend complains all the time about it but you just have to get used to it

it's really not that bad, if you have a fairly heavy leg at least... if ur a 5'4" 100lbs kid you'll have some problems, but if not man up and get the 2600, if you wanna shortcut it then i wouldnt go with that high of horsepower
