it's hard to say... My first impression is it soundsl ike a good deal, but what's the milage? Besides those scratches, what's the general condition of the car? If it was a GS, i would def say go for it, but that's because i don't like the looks of the rs as much as the other models.

it has 142,606 miles on it and they said everything else is fine and considering its from a dealership i dont think they would lie about that

Ask for mataince record when what the timing belt tentioner and water pump last replaced 100,000? never these are the kinda things you need to ask and get it in writing do not trust the dealership for there word they dont car they just want 1 thing money.

definitely ask for maintenance records. probably not a bad idea to request a carfax report from them also. they're not the only ones who've ever owned it.... no telling what the prior owners did to it. if they want to sell it, they should be willing to provide that for you. ask if you can have an independent mechanic look at it. someone without their own agenda may be able to see signs of future problems you don't want to have to fix.

mow being a salesman I won't take offense to what is being said here because you guys are not at my dealership. Defenitley have YOUR mechanic look at it first, they have to allow you to do so! A CARFAX should also be provided without charge. As for getting previous owner information that is against privacy laws. But do all that you can to get as much info from the dealership as you can.

Yep get your mech to look at it get reports and also find out what recalls have been completed (Most notable and I don't remember which gens were affected by it but find out about the ECU capacitor replacement).

Ya man the different rims and the color keyed door handles really make the difference.
