got the car started and....

i did a compression test and the numbers are low.. the two outside cylinders where both about 80 and the two inside cylinders were about 135 whats up with that??(1997 rs)

Also remember to open the throttle body when doing that... and turn it over for a little while so it can stable out....

it might be a posibility that the piston rings are worn, so, if you have the chance do it wet, just to make sure cuz if its giving you the same low compression its for sure the gasket

Yeah put a little oil down the cylinders.. and see if that bumps up the numbers. If it does... its the rings

about how much oil do i put down in there was it like 2 spoons full i think i read on here?
