Greddy Front Mount Intercooler upgrade
Well I found a real good deal on a used Big Greddy front mount intercooler. Comes with the 3 main pipes as well as all the clamps and hose couplers. I was curious though, has anyone else used this intercooler before? Is it easy to install? Would i need to purchase anything else to fully install this intercooler? I've been wanting to buy a greddy Type-S blow off valve, will I still have to buy the greddy upper piping w/flange to install the blow off valve? One last thing, would you really feel much of a diffrence by upgrading your intercooler? thanks!

It will make a huge difference. First off hot air holds less oxygen molecules so cold air has more oxygen in it, the more oxygen in the air the better it will combust when shot into your motor. It can also help lower pre detonation, pre detonation is extremely bad.
The stock intercooler gets heat socked extremely fast so its a extremely good upgrade specially if you plan on getting a bigger turbo later on.
If you are looking for a good intercooler that is 3 times less the price of the greddy check the intercooler kit at www.clubmitsubishi.com , Its on $550 shipped.

if you notice the difference in power you car makes between driving on a wamr day and driving at night, thats about the difference it will make. I have a16g turbo, 15psi, and the difference wasnt as big as i expected it to be. You can feel the extra torque from the denser air, but i noticed the presure drop from having such a huge intercooler almost as much, and it made my turbo spool up slower.
