you are not guaranteed to have crankwalk. its only happens in 2-3% of GST/GSX's. the chances of it happening to you are slim.

what dsmtuner didn't say, is that its going to cost you upwards of $8000 to get a GS to 300whp. it would only take about $1000 to get a GST to 300whp(from what ive heard).

my suggestion...go with a GST.

I do not beleve the 420a is prone to crankwalk. But as for modding to make it evan compeate witha gs-t you are talking full motor rebuild and a stage 2 turbokit.

Ya, the price difference in a GS with a turbo and a GST is huge.. Ive had a GS and a GST and havnt had a problem with crankwalk in either one... But what ive heard its not that expensive to fix it.(You know someone to do the work). Im pretty sure it will cost you a little more then a grand to get over 300hp.. But it is much cheaper then goin with a GS.. A GS your looking at around 4grand to put the turbo on... Which could give you over 300hp, but your gonna want more than just the turbo... which will be running you even more...

no, the 420a does not experience crankwalk...or no more than any other car ever made.

a GS running 8psi(safe on the 420a) will hit about 250whp. you will never get over 300whp on the stock block.

as long as you can do the work, getting a GST to 300whp isn't going to cost much. MBC, BOV, fuel pump, fuel injectors.....then turn up the boost.
