Default GST engine swap to GSX

Picked up a 95 GST. $700.00 and only 117xxx miles. All stock! What a steal!
It needs alittle work but that is expected. Its an automatic and I want a manuel.
I was wondering if I could swap my engine into a GSX. I was going to just swap the tranny but didn't want to change everything. And I'm not too found of the interior. Needs a bunch of work. Swapping into a shell seems easier to me, and gives me an opportunity to rebuild just for fun. But if that don't fit then I'll just find a GST and do that swap instead.
Also who do you guys suggest I buy the rebuild kit from? I just don't want to waste my money on crappy stuff.

I know that. I was wondering if mitubishi did anything different between the GST and the GSX to make it impossible.

The flywheel is acutally bigger in the GST... The tranny wont bolt up on the GSX with the GST flywheel still on.

the engine itself is the same, so yes you can swap, but you of course need a GSX tranny, t-case, flywheel, ect. But the block and head itself is the same. Also the exhaust would have to be from a gsx

Ive gone with eagle rods, and ross pistons... Seems to be ok. But unless your gonna really use it, I would just go with 1g rods and 2g pistons.. You can handle 400 hp and spend less than half the price doing it.. So unless you plan on going all out, I personally dont think its worth it.

^^^ I agree w/ that, make sure you get the block looked at first before you order pistons.
