Hey all!

I ve some questions to you!
I am from europe (austria). in austria you its hard to get a eclipse (turbo)!!
I am looking for a eclipse spyder (think 95-99)!

My questions,
- whats the difference between gst and gsx!?
- which other engines do eclipse have?
- how much hp do they have?
- maybe some facts like 0-60mph?

Well dude, here it is...Stay away from the Spyder if it rains a lot in your country, the top may start leaking during a storm...Mine did every time it rained and it pissed me off..The Spyder has 2 engines, a 2.4L 4 cylinder in the GS or a 2.0L Turbo in the GS-T...I had a '97 Spyder with the 2.4L and couldn't find that many mods for it at the time so now I own a '99 GS-T coupe and am so glad I switched to it...

Now, A GS-T will be a front wheel drive turbo....A GS-X will be an all-wheel drive turbo...A RS will be a gutless 2.0L 4 cylinder non-turbo...And a GS will be a step-up from the RS but still sport the 2.0L in the coupes and a 2.4L in the Spyders...A Spyder will be the convertible verison of course.....Go with a GS-T or GS-X turbo coupe dude, you definately won't regret it.

 

I think Shreff nailed it on the head (Though I don't think the 2.0 NT is THAT gutless besides there are STILL tons of mods you can do to it!)

 

the differance between gst and gsx is simply the gsx comes with All wheel drive and the Gst doesnt
the engine modle is 4g63T for the turbo modles and 4g63 for the non turbo
not sure on horsepower but or 0-60 with the turbo but i know my 93 GS has decent acceleration and thats without turbo. no corvette but it will run most other stock 4 bangers
