gsx!!!!1 tire wear
on a gsx is it normal to were the back tires out in about 3 months and not the front ones cause ive gone threw like two sets of back tires already in like 5 or 6 months but the front ones will still have about 3/4's of life left

i havn't put mine on the road yet but just thinking about it, it doesn't make much since, i would think that the ones in the front would wear faster because of the engine weight, mabey your suspension is messed up? have you done any lowering or suspension work to the car? if not do you know if the person that owned it before you did? if they lowered it or did any suspension work to the rear and not the front i guess it could do that..

wow. that is ridiculous to be going through tires in 3 months. tires should last you a good few years.....i had a friend with a vw fox with a bent frame, and that made his rear tires not point directly forward....his tires wore down really fast too....has your car been in an accident?

wait wait i'm a little lost now... this entire post is about your back tires wearing our WAYYYY faster than the front but now you are saying that they are wearing evenly... what's the deal? are the coilovers on the front and back?

he is saying the the entire tire is wearing evenly, not just on the edges. Thats what i think he means anyway. But now this baffles me a bit. But to me if you have coilovers then that may be the problem. You may need a camber kit becuase that will cause tires to wear down. But from what i understand it should wear more on the ends than on the center of the tire in that case
