Default hard exhaust decision

ok guys i have a 98' gsx and i have been doing my share of reearch on the Apex N1 and HKS carbon-Ti exhaust systems. i cant decide on which to buy. i can get a pretty good deal on either one but i was wondering which will give me more power or sound the best...so if you guys have any advice that would be greatly appreciated. thanks

they are both the same for power im sure. THe sound the apexi may be louder. The carbon Ti is a great exhaust it is a lil expensive.
If you got a deal on Ti for cheap then I would go with that but thats only me. I am looking to get a HKS carbon Ti or an Apexi N1 for the EVO but ill get which ever has a better deal at the time I have the money.

get what you want. performance wise not much difference. N1 is proven and cheap. HK$ is more expensive and louder too. I like the N1

I wasnt sure which was louder..I have only herd the HKS superdragger which isnt to loud very nicely toned. and the Apexi N1 was louder than it

well loudness depends on other things as well, like upgraded downpipe/cat etc . Strictly comparing an n1 catback to the hks, the hks is a bit louder, but not by much.

Yes very true the superdragger was on a AWD TSi and the only other mod was an intake and upperIC pipe. The N1 was acutally on a NA 4G64 eclipse with only an intake. and it was loud sounded good ao I figured maybe a 4G63 turbo may be louder?

NA's are a lot louder usually. Ive seen NA eclipses with headers that rumble walls. I have 3" turbo back exhaust and even my car isnt too loud
