I just bought a 95 RS and the engine has been knocking a little hard when im sitting in the driveway or at a stop light.
It idle's pretty hard and im pretty new at owning an eclipse so im tryin to get all the help i can right now.

I had a friend tell me that it culd be my sparkplugs that are bad and im not getting the power i shuld to my engine.

if it is so what type of sparkplugs shuld i buy, i was thinking about denso iridium or NGK.
My wires are fine form what iw as told.

but if you guys have neways on helping me it wuld be appreciated.

 

2g's dont like iridium or platinum plugs.

Take your car up to a local autozone if you have a check engline light on the'll plug it in for free and let you know what it is.

 

my check engine light isnt on though.

so idk.

 

i need to replace the spark plugs as it is, so can i get any ideas of what you guys wuld recommned on the best possible spark plugs i can get around the internet.

 

Good old NGK's.
And change the wires and coil too.

I have iridium plugs, and it's doing better than when it had the stock ones, but it could varry from car to car too.

 

i dropped some iridiums in my 2g gsx and i pulled 'em out the next day, the car ran like crap. put some old ngk's in there, she runs like a dream... or at least as best as it can until i find that damn oil leak
