I'm trying to do my head gasket, but my head bolts won't come off. I have the right size sockey, but it feels like they are rounding off.. any suggestions? Thanks

are you using a six point or 12 point socket, cause with that much torque needed, if you use a 12 point socket youre more likely to round off the bolt, switch down to a 6 point and it should work

after many bouts with the six point socket, it is a 12 point bolt... yippy... any suggestions if this doesn't work?

if that doesnt work, try to soak the bolts in wd-40 until they come loose enough to get off without breaking off or rounding off the head

pb blaster works charms, i was trying to think of what it was called before but couldnt think of the name, no matter how stuck your bolts are, you can get them off with enough squirts of pb blaster

o, also you may not have the socket the entire way on, i know the bolts arent the easiest to get to, so before you start cranking away, make sure the sockets are seated down well enough to get some grips
