from the way they were telling you about the damage it sounds like its gonna be unfixable if you have frame damage. You dont want to get into that. I agree with 2nd G, the best bet is to find someone selling a 2g shell and drop the motor and everything in there. Other than that i cant see a use for it. Or just part it out to make some money

you are basically geting engine and drivetrain... BEST BET is to buy the complete oposite and swap it into that. you have nooo idea what kind of work you are upagains swaping those 2 motors and then attempting to convert it to AWD. first off tearing EVERYTHING out of the engine bay, i do mean everything, positioning the engine (this doesn't mean whereever it looks right, there are measurments, weights, balance distributionetc etc involved), custom fabing up motor mounts. once you have the motor in place start putting everything else in the engine bay with custom brackets according to where you can fit it around the engine. your car will be down for a minimum of 2 weeks and this is only if you are working night and day with no stopping except to sleep.

yea i hope you realize the amount of work it takes to swap a 4g63 into a 420a engine bay. Its not a direct swap by any means. I only know of about 4-5 people that have actually done it cuz of the money and fabrication time
If it is a GSX dosent it have a 4G63 not a 420A?

Yes but he has a GS thats what hes trying to say.

My suggestion would be to pick up a shell and drop that motor and drivetrain into it. However if you think it is fixable and it might be... then do it.

Take pics!

Ok, so I went and looked at this car yesterday.

GOOD GOD!
Then entire right side is obliterated.
I guess junk yard guys say very little damage... by their standards.

The hunt goes on.

i would still probably pick up the car if the engine is in good condition. if you plan on gettinga gs-t or gsx down the road you can just fix this engine up. and if you dont' plan on getting a 2gt and if this engine ran fine before it was wrecked, you can still sell that motor for about 400'ish.
