If you're replacing old rotors with new one and the old ones won't come off, do what I had to do and get a big hammer and hit the entire rotor surface (all the way around) until you can wiggle it off. My passenger side was rusted onto the hub and it would not come off until I got tired of messing with it and I took a big 'ol hammer to it and voila.
One note ... make sure you only hit the rotors. Tapping the hub is fine, but don't wail on it.

Yeah what he said ^^^ but sometimes there are holes on the rotors so you can put a bolt in it and it'll press the rotor off the hub. Make sure you put antiseize on the hub before you install the new rotors.

Good suggestion, just dont hit anything you intend on keeping with a hammer really hard.. The metal on metal is a good way of breaking stuff. (In this case good idea though if your tossing the rotors..)

Oh yeah, I forgot about that threaded hole guys. That's what it is there for too, lol. Mine already had a bolt that broke in it so I couldn't use it. My passenger side rotor was really rusted onto the hub.
Those rotors are damn tough too. My car shook on the lift while hammering the rotor and afterwards, the rotor looked as if I only gently tapped it leaving the big hammer head imprints. The rotor didn't crack or warp, just imprints.

If you are gonna reuse the rotors hitting the the rotor where the pads ride wont really affect anything unless you going nuts w/ the hammer lol.

I would agree with everyone here. Deffinetly be gentle with that hammer, if it were me i would tap on the backside of the rotor "Helping" it break loose.
