ok friday night i was drivin i wasnt running it at all, then i heard a valve tap it got real loud then i heard a pow! it all happend with in a minute. i tryed startin the car again and it sounded like the car was quifeing...
my car is a 99 gsx but i have a 92 4g63 motor out of a plymouth lazer wit like 77000 miles but its non turbo... can i use that to rebild my motor

it sounds like it may only be the head. Like timing skipped or something. Did you have the timing belt worked on recently? I would make sure its not just the head beofre a motor rebuild since a head rebuild is much cheaper

 

no i havnt had to worked on lately.... i got it replaces like 6 months ago.... i for got to say when i poped my hood my exals maniflod was glowing red so was my turbo...

 

did you tune your car or run higher boost on stock fuel? I have seen that happen from a lack of fuel running really lean will cause that heat

 

nope i dont even have a mbc my car is pretty much stock execpt for minor **** k&N filter 3in turbo back exalst bov

Yikes dude sounds like you ran lean as shyt... Maybe an injector or 2 not opening all the way? THat's the first time I've heard of this happening...
