Hey i need to order my intercooler tonight, but i dont know what to get.

im either going to go with This SIDE MOUNT

Or with a front mount.

Im running the stock turbo but this is the only time i want to change my IC. I will put on a 16g later on. How much of a performance difference is there between a front mount and that side mount?

go to www.dejonpowerhouse.com and delect DSM then on the left under the second generation menu select frontmount ic and its the one at the top.... its only $500 and thats amazing value for money if you ask me

 

yea but i got to cut my bumper and its just easier to put in the SMIC

 

BOO ****ing hoo you have to cut the bumper... it wont look any different from the outside anyway! You wont get all that much power increase from the SMIC anyway... not to mention if you only have the stock turbo there isnt much point... you can actually lose power

 

boo ****in hoo ur self. I just dont want to go thru the hassle right now of doing a FMIC cuz school starts tomorrow. Im selling my stock intercooler cuz some one needs it bad. So im just gonna put in that SMIC till i get my 16g in the spring then i will put that SMIC in my dads gsx and i'll use the FMIC

 

how will i loose power? it only has 1psi loss. And also, how much of a cooling difference is there between a smic and a fmic

 

alot... and trust me i am right about losing power... just ask people.
