I just realized that my pros and cons were all racing related, lol.
I guess on a DD, those can apply too. For the most case is that you don't have to worry about shifting in and out of gear during traffic. Both the manual and auto have their respective pros and cons but this is a big one, the second, IMO, would be when going up hills and having to stop for a light....I love how folks get right up on your tail on hills too....the manual smells of clutch and the auto heats up from the tranny fluid. So both are equal as a DD, it just depends on your preferrence. Seriously. I've driven both and the manual just feels sportier over the auto and the auto is about convenience. So, you pick.
