Nate, the goop won't make it go boom in any way... the worst thing that could happen is that either the goop doesn't work (i.e. that's not the problem) or the goop works temporarily but opens back up for the same problem to happen which tells you exactly what your problem is. there is no need to spend 100 on a head gastket, another 150 on a timing belt change, 93 deposit on a pulley puller all to just either seal or change an intake manifold gasket leak... but eventually your head gasket WILL blow. it's guaranteed with these engines.

 

Yea, itll at least tell him what the problem is... I mean, lets say he changed all that just to find out its the intake manifold?
