Help, won't start when warm/hot
My 95 Eclipse starts great and runs good when it is cold. However, after I turn it off, it won't start when it is warm. It has 420a engine. I just bought the car with a bad rod and rebuilt the engine so I don't know if previous owner had the problem. The engine has spark and fuel pressure when engine won't start so I don't think it is the fuel or ASD relays. It also smells gas standing outside car. I checked key on/key off engine codes and have 12, 22, and 55. I believe they are battery has recently been disconnected/ water temp/ last code. I tried to bypass water temp sensor with 800 ohm resistor, but it didn't help. Any help would really be appreciated as I am really lost!
