Venting won't cause boost creep bro. Venting causes the loud phssss, possible rough idle, possible stumble during shifts, running rich during shifts. Aside from that, there's no performance gain from this.
Yes, reinstall the stock intake pipe and have a tube welded onto your aftermakerket one or sell it and get one that does have the tube and get used to the quieter bov release. That's what I would do.
