Hey guys,
I have a 91 Turbo and whenever I get to Highway speeds (80-85 MPH) I am pushing 3500 RPMs. Is this normal? No mods have been done to the car. Only have a 3" straight through exhaust and K&N Air filter.

3500rpms at 80mph.. hmm, that doesn't sound too extreme dark. I haven't had my gsx for a while cause of some body work so Im not positive, but that sounds about normal for that speed. Mabe its just been too long since I have driven.. I'll find out this week! get my baby back. haha! I so excited (im so gay..) lol its great to make fun of yourself

 

That is about right for RPM. Especially for a stick. & Being a Firefighter means we get to run those speeds fairly often without worry of cops. Blue lights are wonderful.

 

hahah, I hear ya, my buddy's a paramedic and he has strobes everywhere in his car.. I think he drives with them all the time just so he can speed.. gotta love iowa! ha [8D]
