Yeah, the horn button locations aren't really ideal since most people's first reaction is to go for the center. Don't worry Josh, I used to press the center too, lol.
I think you can move the button(s) to the center, but like Rider stated and in short, the airbag is in the way. If the airbag ever did deploy, you'd have the horn button(s) jettisoned onto your forehead, lol.

Now, a more expesive alternative is to get an aftermarket steering wheel. One where the horn button is placed in the center or even an EVO steering wheel will work

it's not that the airbag is in the way... morso that if you were to relocat the pads to the center and then get intoa wreck where the airbad deployed... ur gona get hit in the face w/ some wiring, touch pads and other misc things.

thats actually a really good idea.. it would look better too

I've seen two DSMs with EVO steering wheels now and as oddball as it may sound, it actually looks pretty good.

...or take one from an "American" made car. I retained my "Dodge" horn and it's pretty loud. It goes...honk!!!
