Hello i have a 99' GS turbo but its burnt up (the turbo that is) and im interested in buying a bigger turbo than the t-25 that was in the car. but im not sure how big i can go without cracking the block
any clue on how many psi the block can take? and or how big i can go?

please reply if you have any idea

 

Well there is more to not blowing up than PSI.

Lets start are you a Turbo 420a I was confused as to if you mean a GS turbo as GS with a turbo kit or GSt.

Next it all depends on the mods you have if you got a GST youll need to upgrade fuel system and if you want to go bigger or you could go with a small 16G and call it done depending on your mods

 

this is a 420a that its on? Why would someone put a turbo on a 420a and only put a t25. That makes no sense. I would go with a 16g. And on stock internals i wouldnt run more than 8-10psi assuming it is a 420a

well i bought it with a t25 and i have no mods its a GSt my mistake and if i go with the 16g i would need to upgrade the fuel system and..... is there anything else

Ok now i see...the biggest you could probably go is a 20g which will put you in the low 400hp range. Most people say to not exceed 500hp on the stock internals. So the 20g is a safe bet. And yes youll need to upgrade the fuel pump and injectors. Youll need something like an SAFC or DSMlink to tune the fuel ratio. And youll need exhuast, FMIC, manifold, intake, and more, i just cant remember everything
