Exactly how much do you guys think it would cost me to swap a 4g63 engine into my rs i already got a pretty good price on the engine im just wondering how much time and money it would cost to get it in there right.Is it really not worth it??

 

Use the search button buddy. This question has been asked many times.Its not worth it because the engine bay's are different and it would take alot of custom fabricating, you would need a 4g63 tansmission, ecu, and all that stuff ...if you want to go fast, dont waste your time or money,sell theRS and get aGST orGSX

aproximately 5-6 thousand dollars. the cost of another car. it's not worth it and just plain stupid.

 

Ive heard of someone doing the swap with everything included for alittle over 2k. However, he did all the work himself. So id say your looking at 4k with labor. Its not an easy thing to do. There is alot involved in the swap. This is why we continually say, just byu a GST. Its alot easier and cheaper

holy crap, i just had an idea.... any person that signs up to the forums should recieve an instand PM telling them this!! lol make it a welcome letter or something to the forum but at the end of it put "oh yea, and if you are here to talk about eclipses the 4g63 will NOT swap into the 420a!!!!
