Hey guys, looking to make a awd rear engined car by flipping the engine into the back. Is it possible to do such a thing with the eclipse gsx? would that just be switching the differential some how.....any help would be appreciated...thanks.

 

To what end? What would be the purpose?

 

That would probably completely throw off the balance of the car, not to mention it would be expensive as hell.

 

that would really f-up the balance of the car... and the only real purpose to it would be just to have a custom car... but that's a bit over the top if you ask me

 

just go buy a porsche, it will probably be cheaper then your conversion

 

or a fiero, it'd be cheaper

 

thanks for the constructive critisism guys, but not looking for your thoughts, looking for technical knowledge...converting a 1960 mini cooper to all wheel drive and want it in true race car form, not front engined..chose the eclipse due to its turbo, low displacement, awd etc....need technical advice as to whether or not it can be done...thanks.

there is no really set way on how to do it, which means you have to custom make everything yourself, which is why it is so expensive
