strictly running n/a with no boost or nitrous... probably looking right at 180-190 MABEY, that's a bored out long block with a stroker kit running 12.5:1 compression, ported and polished head, ported and polished intake manfold, larger throttle body, CAI, exhaust, upgraded plugs, wires, 93 octane, a chip would help, lightweighf flywheel, pulley kit.... i know you probably don't want to hear this but it realy is cheaper to turbo the car. you can buy a turbo kit for the price of the long block. good luck.

TECHNICALLY speaking... anything aftermarket on any car is illegal so... no, but at the same time modifying your mom's Fort Taurus with an exhaust is illegal to... so it's kind of a wash. The best brand name turbo kit to get is Hahn, (www.hahnracecraft.com) but at the same time they are the most expensive to. There are a couple others out there. www.cimotorsports.com <- concept illusions turbo kit, www.treadstone.com <- turbonetics turbo kit (the kit that i'm going with), www.turbokits.com <- star turbo kit, or you can piece your own together... i have a friend here in SC that got an SRT-4 turbo from a guy for 150, his SRT-4 intercoller for 50 paid a friend to make him his intercooler piping and boght a BOV and is running 12lbs and is keeping up with STI's on the interstate and running 9.2's at our eighth mile track. so with his bottom end rebuild he spent a total of like 1300-1500 and he was tubo'd and can push his engine and the turbo up to 20lbs. now he's not tuned so another 200-300 will get you the Greddy E-manage and you'll be a lot faster and won't but punishing your engine as much.

but... it REALLY is cheaper to sell your car and get a GS-T or GSX... the only reason i'm taking the long and more expensive road is b/c there are a lot more GS-T and GSX cars out there than there are GS/RS turbo'd and i like to be unique.

make sure you realize that with alot of those turbo kits they dont come with everything. There still are alot of components you need like fuel and electronics
