How much PSI to max out 16G
Hey guys, got another question. I was wandering how many pounds of boost (PSI) I should run in order to max out the 16G turbo. I am just curious. Because I know the Big 16G is capable up to 380 hp if tuned right. But putting the tuning aside and injectors and everything else, how much PSI should I push in order to max out the Big 16g turbo. Or in order to push 380 horsepower.

I wouldnt go more than 22PSI on the Big 16G. Some EVO VIII guys run 24 daily but the EVO 16g is different by a little bit, I have actually seen some hit 29PSI on the stock 16G but 25+ the turbo dies faster from what I have read

id say 20-21 psi tuned properly wil make the most hp on pump. anything more an the air jus gets too hot. race gas is anothe story an you could benefit up to 24-25ish psi
