ok i started my car today!!! w00t w00t!! i'm so excited.. till it went to idle... i dont know if it were cold and hasnt ran in a while but it was hunting aroung 500-700 RPM rand then it got lower and lower then before it stalled i killed it...scould this be a bad side effect of a 4" short ram intake??

did you try resetting the ECU? unplug the battery for about 15-20 minutes. plug it back up, start the car, and let it idle for about 10 minutes.

make sure your MAF isnt falling off.... sometimes if the clamps ar not tight it will slide enough to cause that.... and was your intake a name brand or not? check your TB flange if it is no name because the no name intakes put stress on the TB flange in the 4G64 motors and they can crack and eventualy break off tehn you need a new intake manifold and intake system. those are words from experience it happened to me twice and then I sold the car and it happeded 3 more times with the new owner
