Hi, my name is Andrea and I am new to this forum. I have a 1995 GS non turbo, but am currently putting in a 2.4 liter with a T3/T4 hybrid turbo.A lot of other mods are in the works.

hope you are doing all of the other mods before the turbo. otherwise there is no use for going that big. (not trying to sound like a dick) just lettin ya know. why are you spending money on a 2.4? I think you'd be better off spending your money on a turbo kit for your year. get everything with that. intake, innercooler, new piping, injectors, turbo down pipe, BOV, and turbo+etc.. unless you are getting a great deal on the motor and install... or you are going for the "im being different" look, which in itself is cool... otherwise I'm confused

Yes we are doing all of the mods for the turbo, I am using the dodge short block and my eclipse head. I didnt want to do a bolt on kit for the fact that this is a show car, and I need something different. So you guessed that right. I have sponsors that are counting on me getting picture worthy changes. I have been sponsored by Finn Racing and VIS Racing.

The guy i knew said that they weren't like a real sponsor....you had to buy stuff at discount price from them. He said the discount price was a little higher than what you could find on internet, he really didn't have anything good to say about them.

I actually have the rims that they have been gracious enough to sponsor me with, sitting here in the shop. They are 19s and very nice, so I cant complain too much. I judge companies on how they treat me.

They bought 19's for you? They must be gracious. That's cool that they're nice to you and all, but you have to look at the bigger picture sometimes. There's a shop down here that i had paint my car. Cost ~$2500 and the guys were really nice.A little over ayear later the paint starts to peel and i go back and ask them repair it while under warranty. They gave me the run around for another 4 month's saying that they didn't have the guys to touch it up at the time or that they didn't have room OR that the weather was too bad to do it outside.I had an 18 month"free repair" warranty and it was quickly approaching the time for the warranty toend.Exactly 16 days before thewarranty was up i calledthem and started b****ing. Well the manager got on andFINALLY made time for an appointment. Good news is he extended the warranty for another 6 months, but that's besides the point. Throughout the whole time, the guys were always really nice and very polite, always tried to hook me up with other stuff they were selling, and crap like that. However it still felt like they were trying to play me until i would have to pay extra to get it touched up. Honostly, i didn't see that they were trying to screw me until my sis made it obvious.

I'm not saying you're getting screwed, but i just wanted to let you know that atleast one person isn't happy with finn. I honostly don't like seeing a business take advantage of it's customers, and i don't want to see someone lose money by being tricked. I hope everything works out for you and good luck on your project.
