I love the way this car sits. I'm wondering what lowering springs will get my 99 GS to sit like that but maybe just a tid bit higher?????




Also, I like the rim style but i dont know if its "flashy" enough for me. What do you guys think???? I was considering the falken Torque5 and also the American racing casinos but i dont know if they are really "The rim" for the car. I know you all are going to say its all personal preference but i need some help deciding. Persuade me. I also LOVE the look of Armano dunamis and was actually going to get them but second guessed at the last moment and bailed. Do you feel they fit the style or would they just look out of place???????????? also considered A.Z.A. Z8's


I'm VERRRRYY picky when it comes to rims. I hate when they are "dished" out as i like to call it. where the face of the rim is way out there in the center and then flares in. I like the face to be pretty much flat with a lil contour. The way they take the pics of the rims are kinda deceiving too because can never really tell how much they "dish" out. If someone is bored and could do a photo shop of these rims on a GS that would be awesome.

What size looks best on the eclipse???? 18????

 

lol I also want to know your guys opinions on the stock wings. I have the big half circle looking one but i've been seeing a lot of the lower profile ones and i cant decide what i like better. I like the sleekness of the lower one but yet the tall one looks more....i dunno....racey....maybe. anywayz what do you guys think??

If i were to change to the lower profile one how much different are the mounting holes? can it be just a quick unbolt and bolt on besides the peices that are on the quarters??

 

the lower one is the non-turbo wing, the other is the turbo wing, but it also depends on your opinion on it. the car looks cool, but personally all that custom stuff done to it, it would make me all paranoid with the cars.

to get your eclipse to get lowered like that i would advise against it. Becuase first he probably has coilovers on it. And second those things are probably 19's is my guess. Which are heavy and make your car even slower.

 

its actually got airbags. I dont want it quite that low but roughly the idea. So 18's are a good size?

 

18s on a nice 1.5 in drop or 2 in max.

if you drop the car do it right. if you buy springs get shock struts and camber kit on all 4. then you will be happy
