Why when all that crap is coming off anyways, pay for the extra parts now and you wont have to worry abt it later.

it would be wise to do the timing belt and everything now... if you wait until later it could snap and you would have to drop even more money... get it done and thank yourself later

Why not just do it yourself?
It's really not that hard, and you can do it for about $250 for parts.
Then all you need to do is the head.

try to do everything else if you can now, cuz basically, you get charged for taking the engine out of the bay, so ... fix all in one pull

sorryone more question. is it wise to still drive with a blown gasket? 2 more days untili take it in, but i have to get to work. am i harming the engine by still driving it. like the oil and coolant mixing in the engine.

well the oil is there for a reason, and it mixxing with water is defeating the whole purpose, as as well there might be a risk of hydrolocking it, could make the warpage worse... all that kind of nice stuff

I personally wouldn't drive it expecially if the oil and coolant are mixing. Hydro locking the engine wouldn't be an issue but damage to the brearings, oil pumpect... is whai I'd be worried abt. Also if you do decide to drive it DO NOt let it over heat again, keep a close eye on that temp gauge!

arite thanks. yea im taking it in wednesday, have work tomorrow and thats the only day itll be driven again. yea my eye is on the temp. gauge more than the speedameter lol.
