Anybody every take out their stock Infinity AMP... its under the passenger seat? I'm wondering if there is a way of doing it without taking the seat out... and if i have to take the seat out, how do I do that?

Can I add to my post another simple, unrelated question?
- I have a 97 Eclipse GST spyder - and I do mostly city driving. I'm just wondering if getting about 280 miles on a full tank of supreme gas is appropriate... or am I getting bad mileage?

its just 4 bolts to take out the seat....its the easiest way to take the amp out and 280 per tank on premium sounds pretty good.

 

thank you TJ biker... you are most helpful... and have given me some good advice even before this question.... But again, thanks for the tips and I'm glad to know i'm not getting bad gas mileage...

I would like to take out the oem amp and replace it with another one in the same location thats close to the same dimensions as for what it looks like but can u tell me step by step on how to remove it. If u know the process.
