Alright with a setup like that, running at 25psi anywhere between 340hp-400hp can be expected. It all depends on what the exact motor mods are. Fo sample if you use a dsmlink oppose to a safc you can controle the spark curve and get alot more hp out of the car. Also if you have stupid things like ported manifolds, udp, tb, ect. you can expect more hp. Each setup is different... unless you copy someones.

550cc are fine at the very least but I would go with 660s.

That doesn't seem like very much HP. Don't you have to build up the bottom end before running that kind of psi? I'm not very familiar with the 2G (not even the 3G even) but from what I've heard, building the top and bottom at 8.8:1 to withstand 25psi on a T4 turbo for example would produce an extremely high amount of HP. I'm not sure of the differences between turbo's but it just seems to me that a high psi requires an already high output motor. Even 400hp seems low. Doesn't even seem worth having turbo if that's all the power ya get.

your nuts, do you realize that my EVO is not even at 300WHP and will run mid 12's. a 400 HP EVO can run mid 11s. that is insanly fast. at mid 12s I can blow alot of cars away on the street with the exeption of some. at 500HP is where the EVOs motor is becomeing overboard. you can run about 480 Daily for a while on the EVO and may be able to pop high 10s with that.

I really don't know what to say. I don't know the differences between and Evo and an Eclipse. When I hear advice or give it, all I can do is compare it to my car and make a guess as to how to respond to it. Take the 6G72 for example, you can get over 400whp with a built up bottom, and that's with stock head. Build up the top as well and you can get around 700whp if ya wanted to. So, 300whp doesn't sound like much, not when you can get 600+

I'm sure there can't be that big of a difference between the 2g v-6 and the 3g

And I'm not talking about just boost here. I'm talking about raw power by really beefing up the engine. block, cam, pistons, rods, valves, head, etc... THEN boost. I mean, if your motor isn't pushing anything to begin with, then turbo won't help much will it? You get a motor that's pushing 500 - 600 hp to begin with, then boost 25psi...I think you would notice a huge difference.

There are no 2G v6s.......and there sure as hell are no 600 HP v6 3Gs. the 6G72 motor is so hard to work with the highest HP I have seen on one is not even 500hp, and belive me even 300WHP is alot on one of those. The EVO motor there are guys running over 900HP it takes more than $20g's in motor work to get there. It took me $950 to get near 300WHP. The 3g will take much much more to see 300hp your looking at $5000 or a little more to get around 300ho maybe slightly more.

I know the 3G 4g64 and 6g72 very well I have owned one of easch in the past before I got my EVO. Actually when I joined here I still had my GT eclipse

The stock 4g63t block can take some abuse, somewhere this is a dyno vid of a talon running 35 psi for 2 pulls and on the 3rd pull throwing a rod out the back of the block. Its pretty cool; but anyone with a 4g63t shoud consider a rebuild when reaching 420hp... or else their block is going to hate them.

For $5,600 i can have an 11sec Eclipse, and that's only running 15 - 18psi. Stage 3 kit from Ripp. For another 5 grand, I'm sure I could get even more.
