Default Inspection Today hahahahahaha

I need 4 new engine mounts, new head lights, new horn, new front rotors, powersteering belt and a gasket behind the cat.

How bad is the engine mount situation

not bad. you can change out all 4 mounts your self. all you need to do is put your car up on stands and support the engine(carfully!!!!! use a piece of wood to distribute the weight so you dont bend or dent anything.) and do one mount at a time. you can get the mounts any part store.

time to upgrade to urethane mounts. like's like 80 bucks for all of the mounths, it will give you a smoother ride, less wheel hop and more traction as a result

I don't know about a smoother ride Ron. Poly mounts will transmit motor vibration through to the body. All 4 mounts changed out to them will be an experience. Two is ok, but 4 is rough.

changin all of them out is a PITA i'll be the first to admit it. but the urethane shouldn't make the ride rougher, i thought they were meant to disipate engine vibration and therefore make a smoother ride, and redude wheel hop...... incorrect?

You dont want to make all 4 to P/U... Silvers right, its ugly. Though Ron is right about the wheel hop.

i think that if you put P/U mounts on the front and back mounts you'll be fine

there are no threads for mounts on the frame, the threads for the bolts are in the mount itself.
