you should be able to see a bar, right near the rear of the front tires. its a little further in there so take a look before you start jacking you can damage the car pretty bad..

on any unibody carl always jack on the pinch welds of the rocker panel as close to the tire as possible...that is the strongest point there is atleast 3 layers of UHSS (ultra high strength steel) welded together at these points...its should never damage them by just jackng the car up. Definetly stay away from the floor. Caving that in effects a lot of things even airbag timing if in a collision. if its dented or creased it with fold into itself a lot easier.

Exactly. Always use the pinch weld. And alot of cars have 2 small halfcircles put the jack between them and you'll be fine.

Default Front jack point on 2012 Lancer?

Where is it located? Is there such thing for my Lancer?

I wanted to change oil but the manual only gives me points on the sides.

How can I raise the front of the car to get to the oil plug / filter?

Thanks. That's kind of obvious.
But I am not sure everybody can afford building a car ramp for a mere oil change. Or everybody has a friend who owns a car shop...
So, my question is still unanswered...
I'm not sure if 2012 Lancer SE even has that front jacking point, tho.
Main reason 4 asking was to use the front jacking point to raise the car to put stands under sides (pinch welds, of course).

I was answering NSKMDA just above my post and you dont have to build car ramps or spend a fortune ... That may help https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/04...-safe-way.html
