than you aren't looking very hard, you can search them on ebay, autotrader, dsmtuners . com, locally... they are all over.

good luck finding a good running gsx for under 4k... that's just dumb... that's like hoping to find a good running EVO IX for 10k.... just not going to happen unles you find 1 a complete idiot. 2 some rich dumby that doesn't care or 3 it's stolen or rigged.

ORIGINAL: brknhrtdpimp1489

it runs great when it decides to run lol the plugs are brand new i just changed them after i bought the car although i do have a slight idea of what could be the prob...when i was taking the old plugs out i noticed that the plug all the way to the right of the engine on the driver's side was covered in oil from the threads down...a buddy of mine said that this could just be b/c it sat for a while or b/c i have oil coming past my piston rings...idk i should prob check that plug again and see if its still doing it...sometime it will studder a little bit but that usually happens when it tries to die and then doesnt...never changed the wires yet though didnt really have the money to do it at the time...
Well, that's a starting point. You could have an arcing wire. Did you happen to notice arc marks on it anywhere on the boot or in the oily area? Did you happen to accidentally bump or move the CAS wires? They are on the right side too. Do you have the upper timing belt cover on or are you sporting the stock cams? The cam angle sensor is on the cam sprocket closest to the firewall. The cam and crank angle sensors sends the ECU ignition timing, without it, the motor will not get spark. Either or both will cause that btw.

Oil in the plug, check you valve cover gasket.
It has little oil seals around the plug holes.
As for it dying, but becoming alive again when you pop the clutch, this may be a long shot, but check the wiring of the clutch start switch.
Maybe somethings exposed causing a short.

actually joshewuhh your not the first person to come up with that explanation...im starting to wonder if that might be a possibility...im about to sell the car i found a 95 gst for 2700 it has some minor probs but hell as long as the engine will turn over then i'll fix most anything else and worst things worst i'll part it and sell the shell ya know...anywayz i really need to pull that plug and see if it has oil on it again or if the new one is clean...
