i would love to find that crx and buy it... just to prove to that SOB how slow it really is!!! how funny would that **** be?????? pull up to his house in his old car exactly the way he left it. have him drive it down a 1/4 and see his time. then what would he say? then sell it for like 100 bucks as an insult! lol

 

lol i know right i dont really like the body style for crx i think they're ugle...now if it was a new civic si that might be justifiable or an s2000 or somethin like that but its just a crx...and he's selling it for 1500 idk lol if by some grace of God the driver of that gst fell asleep and forgot to press the gas it wouldnt matter b/c theres no way a honda w/o a turbo or some spray would beat a supercharged mustang or a trans am with an engine that big in it lol just no way...

 

nope, no way in hell. there is a guy around here in a gutted out civic w/ a BBBUUUIIILLLTTT GSR b16 that was running 11's in the 1/2 but i doubt ur friend had asmuch work done. this guy had easily 5k into his motor

 

WOW!!! 11 secs in the 1/2...that pretty freakin fast lol and no he def doesnt have that much in that engine just intake headers and exhaust and thats pretty much it lol just the basics...

 

You would feel like your in a jet goin that fast.. 11 1/2 mile... phew!

 

yea... he got one hell of a rep around here for having the fastest Honda in the tri state area and when he sold the car, he sold the head for 4k and the block for another 3k to 2 seperate buyers.... that's how much this guy had invested. he's now in the process of dropping a 2jzGTE into a 240... this guy has money and knows his stuff. and yes the 11sec 1/2 is completely correct, i've been time slips and vids of it at his house.

 

DUDE brknhrtdpimp1489 you really need to learn about how a 1/4 mile times usually equate. I read though 1.5 pages of this and i cant believe that NO ONE said anything about this. Think about, if he ran a 9.8 in the 1/8 mile that DOES NOT mean that you double it to get the 1/4 mile [sm=headbang.gif]. If you really look at it thats not a terrible time, its not good but its not horrible. And your not gonna run a 6 sec 1/8 mile that would mean your gonna run like a 10 sec 1/4 mile. It takes longer to do the first 1/8 than the last for an obvious reason, your not at a slower speed at the start. That 9.8 probably equates to about a high 14 sec 1/4 mile. Once again i didnt read the rest of the thread because i was tired of reading, but i hope im not the first that had to point this out.

So alot of what the guy was saying might have been true. Do some thinking before you talk

 

true that does equate out BUT it's still a 14sec 1/4... which further proves the point that this guy was b.s'ing. not sure if you got to the poin where this guy was saying that his CRX was running 10's in the QUARTER not the 1/8th... that's why we are so reluctant to believe it.

 

damn that sounded really assholish but its all good b/c ive never been to the track and you're right i didnt consider the fact that you lose time gaining speed in the beginning of the run...go easy on me though man no matter how you wanna look at it or try and defend him theres no way a gst with a 20g turbo and all the other stuff i listed would have ran a 10.8 in the 1/8 no matter what you say not unless he cant drive and theres no way that crx would have beat the gst with that kind of cash put into it...come one man im just stating whati was told and imma be honest with you there was very little it any truth in what he was saying b/c even if he did beat the gst which i and quite a few others really highly doubt theres just no way the mustang w/ the supercharger or a trans am with a chevy 400 in it...JUST NO WAY...
