I was lookin at the recall for the 98 eclipse on this site and it says that there a recall on the- Suspension:front:control arm:lower ball joint. I called a dealer today and they looked up my car VIN number and said my recall is open.. Does this mean there no recall for this car. My lower ball joint is bad. The boot is gone. Anybody have luck with this recall. Also wut the name of a steering component that is connected to the wheel. Its a metal bar that has a curv to it. Chilton says its a lower compression something.
