i posted this yesterday in the "newbie forum" but no replies at all so i guess maybe this forum just doesnt move as fast as some of the forums im used to or i dunno... so i figured id try this one too.....

i currently own a 97 jetta. ive been pretty into VWs, but im just getting really fed up with all their problems. im looking into buying a 99 eclipse (the one im looking at right now is a 5spd RS) i dont know a thing about mitsubishis becuz ive never owned one, so what are some things i should know about them b4 i get one and sut are some problems i should look for? (i know with VWs you always look for electrical problems and the such, so im guessing mitsubishis have their own problems) also, what are the huge differences between the RS and GS? because it seems like i can deal with the RS, but i dont want to be disappointed. its either this, or probably a 99 civic si, but i like the insurance price i got for the 99 RS. thanx in advance...
