What year and configuration is best, and what from there would be needed?

 

91-early 92

92 has the 4 bolt rear

91 has the flip up lights (I like them)

Both have 6bolts unless you purchase a later model 92.


From there it is up to you. How fast do you want to be? What sort of HP are you looking at making?

 

Not sure, what are these things capable of without blowing pistons through the concrete?

 

they can make around 450hp on the stock internals.when you start to go over that you will have to change out internals. i like the 2g cars myself 95-99 i like the look of them alot better.but i have a 90 awd talon and a 96 gsx eclipse,woking on the 96 right now its doin 12's in the quater right know.
