Default loosing power???

i got a annoying problem with my car... i only have exhaust and air filter in my car (99 GST)

heres the problem.. sometimes when i start from 1st gear and add gas, its like the car is moving faster but its not really pulling as it should be. it also happens on 2nd and 3rd gear. the rpm goes up slowly but doesnt pull that much. like its loosing power somewhere. i know its not the clutch. i know what it feels when the clutch is slipping. its not that!!

this problem doesnt happen all the time. it doesnt happen when i drive like im racing ..... what do u guys think????

do you have a boost guage? You could have a boost leak.

Also check the condition of your plugs and wires you could have a fouled one. Is it starting instantly?

Well just take a look at them to be safe. I would recomend doing a boost leak test. Are you smoking out of the exhaust?

You will have smoke from the tail pipe if your turbo was bad and you would most likely hear the death whine

boost leak is usually coming from a loose hose or piping. Check to see if there is any oil on the spark plugs cuz you may just have a bad valve cover gasket too. Also see how dirty your intake is.
