im driving a 95 talon tsi awd w/an e316g and it wont boost past 6 lbs, i have a turboxs mbc, i posted this problem quite a while ago about it having a crack in it, if your not familiar with it then there is a picture on the site the gallery is labelled bad turbo??? im pretty sure, n/e ways i got it welded up and its holding great but it still cannot boost past 6 its driving me crazy all the lines look good but are getting replaced tomorow anyways but im pretty sure that wont fix anything, and im gonna check the intercooler/piping tomorrow also, if that doesnt do it then what all else do you think it could be?

boost leak test your whole system, start on the turbo where your intake pipe goes that way you can hear if you are losing boost out of your turbo still. if so, start welding some more or get a new one.

 

could be a problem with your turbo. Your wastegate or actuator may be stuck
