well on sunday i started screwing with my bsc restrictor. took the pill out. put it back together. the top hose of bsc was already blocked off with a screw!!!
I removed my intake and disconnected MAF to do this? if that has anything to do with it???

monday, car has low idle like around 300 whenever i have it in neutral. and it fluctuates rapidly, sounds like a rotary engine almost. from like 300rpm-350rpm rapidly.

so i got home and put the pill back in the bsc. and put together again!!!

does the car need to be reset if you disconnect the MAF. idk what is wrong. the car didn't do this until i screwed with it. im usually pretty savy on cars, but this stumps me.


any suggestions helpfull!!!

and where does the top hose of bsc go into? "the intake" cus it has a small nipple right there.

 

sounds like you have a leak between the turbo inlet and the MAf, if it pulls in any unmetered air it'll do crazy things like that, check that evrything is on right, connected and sealed up good.

 

yah i did about 4 times. but there is a little nipple on the bottom of the intake??? i didn't notice if it had a hose on it, nor did i see one. so i just put it back on. i dont think it had one.
the only place i can see where it went is to the top hose of the bsc.

i could've possibly cracked the rubber housing of the intake. i doubt that though highly also. its pretty flexible.

 

mine was cracked and it would idle up & down real crazy and stall
thats my only guess, try resetting the ECU as see what happens,
what about the recirc hose for the BOV is it on?

 

If it swhat im thinking, there is a hose that is suppose to go on that... If that hose is off that would be the reason its idleing like that.. You gotta find where that hose fell down too..

well where does that little nipple hose go to, if it goes to the bsc. than it was never there because the top bsc hose is blocked off. dont ask me why!!! i would have just removed the pill.

 

Reset the ECU or adjust the BISS screw
