cut your springs. But dont take them off the car when you do it. Just use a dremel to take 3 or 4 inches off.

if you cut your springs then you're ride is going to be very bumpy. sorry i disagree with the above post. plus you might have problems later on. If you're cheap, go on Ebay and get a cheap *** set of coil overs. still the rides going to be bumpy.

if you got the money, get a big name brand set of coil overs and shocks and such. it'll look sweet and the ride wont be horrible.

I've got a set of Eibach springs and my rides f'in stiff and nice. though i've still got the stock shocks so the ride's really bumpy. worth it for the look though

[:@][sm=headbang.gif][sm=chairshot.gif][sm=badidea.gif] ok thats enough smilies i guess to get my point across...HAHA

DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS!!! Just by a set of springs off ebay. A name brand set. Dont get cheap with it or youll regret it everytime you hit the smallest bump.

any one who says to cut your spring and is serious about it is a moron and does NOT deserve to drive anything that is a nice looking car good god that is the worst thing you can do to your suspension. you will bottom out on every thing the car will float and bounce TOTAL ricer move.

get some Eibachs and KYB combos they have had the deal for the 3Gs for as long as I can remember. If anyone thinks you get a bad ride with springs then you have never been in a car with cut stockers on it. with springs the lower you go the stiffer they are which means the more bumps you will feel but the better the car will corner.

1.5inch drop is perfect IMO on the 3G on my onld 2000 GS I did a 1.5 with KYBs and it road 100% perfect the car handles 1000x better and it looked nice
