wow!! did you guys give Jeffisdecentttttt enough **** about that or what?!?!
Not really.... That was the worst advise you can give

It was a joke. Holy crap. [sm=happy046.gif]
from now on, if you are joking, then say it. i truely believe that this guy was about to go cut his springs just because you said so. if you want to joke thats fine. just hit enter about 20 times, so that at the bottom of your post, you can say that you are just kidding.

as you can see, nobody knew that you were kidding. some people do actually cut their springs.

Dood.. whatever you do, DO NOT cut your springs. that is the redneck way of doing it. first of all, you would have to cut all 4 the exact size which is hard to do. second, you will encounter more problems in the long run if you do it that way..
my advice, coilovers or springs
1) coilovers - adjustable usually between 2 and 4 inches which is really cool for getting the exact height your looking for. downfall is that coilovers do affect your ride much more than lowering spings.
2)springs- if your going to go with springs, go with a progressive drop spring. the cars weight will determine the final resting place of the springs. this is your best way not to mess your ride up. only downfall - not adjustable. if you have a stock body kit on it, you will not have any problems. if you have a huge body kit, you may be only an inch or 2 from the ground.. like my car

cut your springs. But dont take them off the car when you do it. Just use a dremel to take 3 or 4 inches off.
DO NOT CUT YOUR SPRINGS!!! Just by a set of springs off ebay. A name brand set. Dont get cheap with it or youll regret it everytime you hit the smallest bump.

That's very true...............DO NOT CUT THE SPRINGS............Ebay has some pretty well know comanies that make springs and they have a great price
