Default Made a decision

I have made a decision. After reading for a couple of days I have decided to keep almost everything on my 95 rs stock and look for a block to start building on.Where would be the best place to look for a block?I thought about a junk yard but is there anything I should look for in particular?I don't wanna have to take every block I come across to a shop and have it checked for cracks.Should I just try and find one from a buisness or out of a individual's wreck or what? And yes,I am going to build it for a turbo, not sure what size yet.

if you are looking for just the bottom end than most 98% of junkyard blocks would do. when you pull it out take the head off and make sure there are no cracks in the old pistons gouges in the piston walls make sure the crank looks good by taking off the oil pan also make sure the outside of the block looks good. if all looks well you sould be good to go.

You cant do a 4G63 swap on a 420a car.... I think there are only 2 that have ever done it or something like that I cost WAY TO MUCH money so he would have to be building a 420a block\head for his car

Good to hear, theirs nothing cooler than a sleeper, I would deff try a junkyard. Just becuse to ship a block costs about 3-4 hundred bucks... which is about the cost of one at a junkyard.

If your serious about going fast, make your own turbo kit, becuase you have a 95 its fairly simple. In all for a turbo kit that would kick *** (much better than hahn's, or star's kit) would run about 2500 if you did some ebay shopping.
